Connectivity

Conversions

How Coinbase Prime asset conversions surface as Connectivity Conversions, and how to query them.

Requires payments 3.3.0+.

Use this page to understand how Coinbase Prime asset conversions appear in the Connectivity API as Conversions, and how to list and inspect them.

A Conversion represents an atomic two-asset swap — moving a balance from one asset to another at a venue, with distinct source and destination amounts. Use Conversions for stablecoin redemption (USDC ↔ USD), wrapped-asset swaps, and any other direct asset-to-asset exchange that isn't a trading order.
